Employment Opportunties at SOBO Telecom
Fiber Splicing Technician with the ability to splice and test all types of fiber optic networks.
Job Responsibilities:
• Basic knowledge with aerial and underground installation of fiber cable, fiber optic theory, connector types and different types of fiber
• Have full knowledge in the use of fiber optic splice equipment (Fusion splicers, OTDR and fiber identifiers) and advanced tools used to perform installation.
• Perform ring cuts (mid sheath) on existing fiber cables.
